Congressman Walter Jones Reaches Out to US Veterans Hospice Committee - The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee
U.S. Veterans
Hospice Committee
The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee is proud to announce that it has renewed its membership in the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.  The NCHV is dedicated to ending homelessness among veterans by shaping public policy, promoting collaboration, and building the capacity of service providers.

Our Mission

The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee is committed to standing up for the nearly 22,000 veterans who have no home and who are suffering from a terminal illness.  The Committee's mission is to lobby Congress to do right by our heroes and fund the establishment of a national network of hospices dedicated to caring for our homeless and ailing heroes.

Congressman Walter Jones Reaches Out to US Veterans Hospice Committee

Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC) recently reached out to the U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee to help call attention to what continues to be a tragedy among our military heroes, terminally ill homeless veterans and their need for proper end-of-life care.

“Congressman Jones has been a good friend to veterans his entire career,” states Executive Director Gerald Johnson.  “It’s not surprising that he wants to join the fight with our members and supporters to get these fallen heroes the proper care they have fought so hard for and deserve,” continued Johnson.  “We will be meeting with Congressman Jones’ staff regularly over the course of the 115th Congress and are honored to be working with a Member of Congress that cares so much about our military heroes.”

The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee would like to personally thank all those who have supported our program with such dedication and care.  It’s your support and participation that allow our organization to align ourselves with Congressmen and Senators that have  the power to make a positive change for our men and women of the military.
