The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee recently attended the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) “Veterans Access to Housing Summit” held in downtown Washington, D.C..
“The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans continues to do a great job in the fight to end Veteran’s homelessness,” says Legislative Director Sean Ferritor. “They are a fantastic ally for the U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee in our effort to pressure the Department of Veterans Affairs to connect the dots and finally enact a network of hospice facilities dedicated solely to chronically and terminally ill homeless veterans,” continued Ferritor.
The U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee was invited to participate in this year’s Housing Summit for one specific reason, and that reason is you. Thanks to your participation in our grassroots program we have gotten the attention of the major players in the fight to end all veterans’ homelessness, and given those with terminal illnesses a voice in Washington they have never had. Thank you, for all that you do for our military heroes in their true time of need.
