U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee Executive Director Gerald Johnson recently attended the 26th Annual National Coalition for Homeless Veterans Conference held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Washington, D.C.
“We’ve been attending this important event for the last 6 years, and this year’s was by far the most attended,” states Executive Director Gerald Johnson. “It was a sold out program. Governor Terry McAuliffe of Virginia spoke at the opening ceremony, as well as Department of Labor Secretary Thomas Perez. The atmosphere was inspiring. Thousands of people coming together, dedicated to helping rescue our homeless veterans from the streets.”
Thank you to all U.S. Veterans Hospice Committee members and supporters who ultimately make events like the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans Conference possible. Without your continued participation and passion to help our true military heroes, our mission would not be possible. Thank you.
